Scottie Barnes is out for Game 3, might return for Saturday’s game

Raptor’s rookie Scottie Barnes might return soon but it won’t happen for Game 3 of Toronto's series with Philadelphia. Nick Nurse had said that Barnes might play on Wednesday against the 76ers after he participates in the shootaround. But later he said in his pre-game availability that the 20-year-old wasn't ready to play. 

Further, Nurse said that Barnes is pretty good and can do some things but not at that level where he can play for Game 3. But he also assumes that Barnes would be ready for the upcoming game on Saturday. Barnes is a finalist for the NBA rookie of the year award and his return will be a big boost for the Raptors squad trailing 2-0 in their first-round playoff series where they played against the 76ers.
