Should the Sacramento Kings sign Dwight Howard?

At the age of 37, Howard played this past season for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan, where he dominated with 23.2 points and 16.2 rebounds per game. The future Hall of Famer's final NBA season was with the Lakers in 2021–2022, where he largely played off the bench and scored less than 7 points per game. In the 2019–2020 preseason with the Lakers, Howard earned his lone title. In addition, he was an eight-time all-star and three-time defensive player of the year.

The Kings just had a terrific season, and in comparison to the suffering endured by supporters over the previous 17 years, they appear to be a brand-new organisation. Even though Howard is without a doubt a Hall of Famer and was a force in his peak, the Kings may not need to add him to their roster if they want to win the first NBA championship in the team's history.
