Sixers target Mike D'Antoni for Head Coach role

Harden is due to becoming a free agent in 2022 and the Sixers are extremely interested in bringing in Mike D'Antoni as head coach, the former Houston Rockets mentor could lead the way for Philadelphia to get their much-coveted player on board. The chances of converting their potential bid to sign the 2018 NBA MVP would increase. Though they might just be shooting in the dark as the 69-year-old American-Italian could be looking at retirement as his decision to continue with Houston Rockets was driven by coaching for two or three more seasons. The two-time NBA Coach of the Year was a hit with Rockets though they didn’t get any titles under his four-year stint but, the team has significantly improved.
