Spurs and Piston draft trade could be a win-win strategy

San Antonio Spurs lack a star player in their roster while Detroit Pistons need players around their stars. Now, the Spurs enjoy three first-round picks in the upcoming NBA Draft but a trade with Detroit could assist both the sides in what they need. Spurs enjoy 9, 20, and 25th picks but unfortunately would not help the side immediately.

Pistons on the other side have big players like Cade Cunningham, Saddiq Bey, and Isaiah Stewart but do not have the support player. If they trade, Pistons get the 9, 20, and 25th picks and the Spurs can pick a good player at No. 5. The main big three names this season are Chet Holmgren, Paolo Banchero, and Jabari Smith Jr. but Jaden Ivey, Shaedon Sharpe, AJ Griffin, Jalen Duren could also thrive with Spurs.
