Stephen Curry picked up an injury in the Golden State Warriors' Game 1

The Golden State Warriors made a big impression when they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. But the evening ended on a sour note that might endanger their chances of making the playoffs this year.

Golden State's postseason prospects and the remainder of the series are in jeopardy due to Stephen Curry's injury. Curry limped off the floor with what seemed to be a strained hamstring after only 13 minutes of play. "Golden State's Stephen Curry has sustained a Grade 1 left hamstring strain and will be ruled out for Game 2 against Minnesota on Thursday, sources tell ESPN," Charania wrote in a post on X.  "It's the first strained muscle of Curry's career, so the exact return timetable is unclear due to the first rehab like this."
