Devin Booker and Kevin Durant combined for 57 points in only three quarters, as the visiting Phoenix Suns demolished the San Antonio Spurs 131-106 on Saturday. It was the first of two games that the teams will play over the course of three nights in Texas. It was also the first game of the Suns' five-game road trip. After shooting 61.6 percent from the field in the first three quarters, Phoenix surpassed the 100-point threshold in the closing seconds of the third quarter, forcing Booker and Durant to sit out the next 12 minutes of play.

For Phoenix, Eric Gordon scored 12, Drew Eubanks scored 10, and Bradley Beal scored 13 points along with 12 assists. The Spurs were led by 14 points from Keldon Johnson, 13 from Victor Wembanyama, 12 from Blake Wesley, 11 from Zach Collins, and 10 from Tre Jones.
