Deandre Ayton hit his season-high against Rockets by posting 26 points and 17 rebounds contributing towards 109-103 by Phoenix Suns in their attempt to beat the Houston Rockets on a Wednesday night. Suns had not won a match in weeks, since Jan. 9 this was their first win after two losses and three postponements and they managed to come back stronger lead the third quarter by twenty-point comfortable lead and managed to thaw any attempts of a comeback by Houston Rockets with Victor Oladipo pushing to win the match and came close too with 103-101 and 90 seconds on the clock but at the last moment.
Ayton’s two free throws and Booker’s bravado sealed the victory in favor of Suns. Oladipo and Eric Gordon both ended the night with 22 points each for the Rockets marking this as their third loss off four matches they have faced right after James Harden joined the Nets.
