Phoenix Suns stay on track to make back-to-back final appearances this season after the 129-109 success over the Dallas Mavericks late Wednesday, in the West Semifinals. Mavs had started strong and maintained a small lead at the end of halftime but the Suns overwhelmed the side in the last quarter with the 40-26 lead. The 12-time All-Star Chris Paul and Devin Booker joined for 58 points to drive the Suns to the Game 2 triumph at the Footprint Center.
Jae Crowder wrapped up with 15 points while Mikal Bridges set up 11 for the triumphant side. Together they proved Luka Doncic's 35-point execution as insufficient for the Mavericks. The teams would now head to Dallas for Game 3 on Friday.
