Phoenix Suns’ star Devin Booker returned to action on Sunday to face Charlotte Hornets on the other side. The NBA-leading Suns saw off Charlotte Hornets with a 137-106 victory while Booker contributed 16 points in his return after a hamstring injury, in 26 minutes of playtime. Hornets trailed right from the start and even fell behind by as many as 36 points as Phoenix made 20 of 41 3-point shots and also shot 56.8% overall.
Deandre Ayton and Javale McGee gave the side a big boost with their 15 points and 15 rebounds and 19 points contributions respectively. Suns enjoyed a big night with as many as nine players in double digits for the first time since April 21, 1991. Suns improved to 24-5 while Hornets are 16-16 so far in the season.
