The Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler before to the most recent NBA trade deadline. Since his arrival, though, the seasoned player has adapted to a role that is far more focused on playmaking. The Warriors will undoubtedly need another scoring punch given that Jonathan Kuminga may also be leaving this summer. The next player enters at this point. Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report suggested the Warriors should make a run at Trey Murphy III of the New Orleans Pelicans this offseason. The NBA writer cited a notable rumour in the process. The Bleacher Report writer did make it clear that Murphy would not be an easy acquisition. The move would require the Warriors parting with a key young piece to get the job done.
