The Hawks defeat the Grizzlies 122-116 

Trae Young, Dyson Daniels, Zaccharie Risacher, Jalen Johnson, and Kristaps Porzingis were the Hawks' projected starting lineup for the regular season as they flew to Memphis for their final road trip of the preseason. Many of the Grizzlies' star players, including Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant, were sidelined by injuries.

At the first break, the Hawks were ahead 34-26 after separating themselves on the parade to the free throw line.
