The Indiana Pacers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-107

The Indiana Pacers took a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-107 at home in Game 3 on Wednesday.

Indiana selected Mathurin with the sixth overall choice in 2022, and he scored a game-high 27 points off the bench. He made 7 of 8 free throws and a blistering 9 of 12 from the field. In just twenty-two minutes, he collected four rebounds, one assist, and one block. During the regular season, he averaged 16.1 points on 45.8% shooting. Indiana dominated Oklahoma City in the second and fourth quarters to take the lead after starting both halves incredibly slowly. Tyrese Haliburton, who was one point shy of a triple-double, led Indiana's starting lineup with 22 points on 9 of 17 shooting, 11 assists, and nine rebounds.
