Lakers made an announcement on Thursday morning that stated Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, and LeBron James will be sitting out for the game where the Lakers will play against the Warriors. The Lakers have been eliminated from play-in game contention while all three players suffer from injuries.
James was on the sideline due to his sprained ankle. He suffered the injury during the match played against the Pelicans on March 27. While for Russell his shoulder soreness made it difficult. He had missed only one game this season. The best ability for this player has been his availability during this season’s matches. As far as James is concerned, his absence from the line-up is considerably less surprising. He played through injury against the Pelicans on April 1. Also, Anthony Davis has been sidelined due to his right foot sprain.
