The Los Angeles Lakers haven't made many roster changes despite their goal of competing every season. Even though they are younger, the squad still lacks a dependable and consistent shooter as the new season begins. The fact that star player Russell Westbrook appears to still be with the team by training camp just makes matters worse and could result in a variety of issues on the court as well as in the locker room.

But despite all the concerns and skepticism that are currently surrounding the Lakeshow, Shaquille O'Neal, a Lakers veteran, believes they can still find some success provided both stars can stay healthy. The health of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, however, will be the most crucial factor of all. The Lakers will be depending on them if they are to have any chance of competing with the elites after they missed significant portions of last season.
