The Timberwolves defeated the Heat 113-104 to win their seventh game in a row

The Minnesota Timberwolves refused to let a single road defeat turn into a losing streak. The Timberwolves defeated the Miami Heat 113-104 on Saturday night, with Jaylen Nowell scoring 16 points and Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards each adding 15. The Timberwolves won their eighth game in a row after falling to the Orlando Magic on Friday night.

Tyler Herro led the Eastern Conference-leading Heat with 30 points. After scoring 42 points in the first quarter, they had 37 points in the second. Miami has dropped two of its last three games. Minnesota's 13th and final back-to-back of the season came to an end with this win. Miami has completed the 12th of 14 back-to-backs; the others are scheduled for March 25 and 26 (hosted New York and Brooklyn) and April 2 and 3 (hosting Philadelphia and Washington) (visiting Chicago and Toronto).
