The Warriors have “as good an argument as anyone” to make it to the NBA Finals

They struggled to remain healthy during their 2019 NBA Finals journey after reigning over the league for two straight seasons. Klay Thompson, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kevin Durant all missed time, preventing them from completing the three-peat. The Warriors saw Kevin Durant leave in the offseason, with tensions running high. Golden State struggled the following season, knowing Thompson would be out for the entire season, winning only five games.

They finished in the top eight last season, with two-time MVP Stephen Curry leading the league in scoring, but they struggled against the Memphis Grizzlies and were eliminated in the play-in round. With Thompson's comeback and the inclusion of numerous key veterans, the Warriors should be able to return to their pre-Durant form.
