The Washington Wizards lose to the Milwaukee Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back, making it two losses in a row. At one point in the first half, the Bucks had a 16-point lead after a quick start. They were making their jumpers and moving the ball nicely. Throughout the opening 24 minutes of play, the Wizards were unable to consistently score or make a stop.
At halftime, the Washington Wizards changed the situation. They were able to surge back into the game. In just the third quarter, they almost eliminated the point differential. This was fueled by a great second half from Deni Avdija, who for large portions of the game was absolutely containing Giannis Antetokounmpo while also he also grabbed six rebounds and collected two assists along with three steals and 17 points. The Wizards lost by six despite being within two points in the last two minutes of the game as the Bucks ultimately proved to be too much for them.
