With free agency upon us, there seem like few holes that the Denver Nuggets have to fill before the 2021-22 season on their roster. Some players are in the price range of Denver but they should avoid them at any cost for multiple reasons. Number one on that list is Josh Richardson, who is coming from his worst professional season after breaking into the scene in 2017-18 season with Miami Heat. His average score is 12.6 points, 2.6 assists, and 33% from the 3-point line.
The next in line is Lonzo Ball, whose shooting number before the contract season is too much of an aberration. The third free agent that Denver should avoid is Elfrid Payton, who is not a world-beater, but just a serviceable point guard with weaknesses.
