Oklahoma City Thunder forced a comeback from 27-point but fell short at the last second laying waste to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 31 point contribution in the 111-110 loss to Chicago Bulls. In the final seconds, Gilgeous-Alexander pushed past his defender to launch his patented step-back three-pointer for a game-tying jumper but ultimately the ball ricocheted off the rim and into Chicago Bulls Javonte Green’s lap who then held onto the game-clinching rebound and converted two free throws to help Chicago with a 111-110 win on Monday.
Thunder ran out of luck at the last second and paid for their defense slip-up in the first half when the Bulls drilled 58 points and laid the foundation for their win. Thunder will take on Indiana Pacers next on Friday while the Bulls would take on the Raptors next.
