Timberwolves take advantage of the Warriors, to win 117-93 

With 24 points and 11 assists, Julius Randle helped the Timberwolves take advantage of the absence of Stephen Curry, the standout player for the Warriors, to win 117-93 on Thursday, tying the second-round series at one game each.

The previous day, an eccentric film session with Finch and his team created the groundwork. Following an injury scare for the Wolves, who more than quadrupled their 3-point shooting output (going 16 for 37) from their Game 1 defeat when Curry was sidelined by a left hamstring strain that is probably going to keep him out until at least next week, Anthony Edwards concluded with 20 points. Together with Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid, Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 20 points to lead an outstanding effort from the bench, going 10 for 22 from beyond the arc.
