Top-seeded Nuggets enjoy a 3-0 lead against Minnesota

On Friday in Minneapolis, the Nuggets seized control of their first-round Western Conference playoff series against the Wolves.  With 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists, Nikola Jokic had his ninth triple-double in the postseason, helping Denver Nuggets defeat Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 to grab a 3-0 series lead.

Jamal Murray contributed 18 points and nine assists, while Michael Porter Jr. contributed 25 points and nine rebounds as the Nuggets overcame another brisk performance from Anthony Edwards of the Timberwolves. Edwards added 36 points to his series total, bringing it to 95. Karl-Anthony Towns increased his point total to 27 after only scoring 21 in the previous two games. While Rudy Gobert contributed 10 rebounds and 18 points. Nikola Jokic’s team would now be aiming for a complete sweep in the next match.
