The Toronto Raptors defeated the Washington Wizards 102-90 on Sunday night, with Pascal Siakam scoring 31 points and Precious Achiuwa adding 10 points and 14 rebounds. The Raptors had been lacking a good defensive effort of late, but they got it back and played stifling defense from the beginning on Sunday, powering to a victory over the Washington Wizards.
The Wizards got a season-high 26 points from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and 14 from Bradley Beal, but they couldn't get out of a double-digit deficit after a disastrous first quarter. Since their five-game winning run ended on November 17, the Wizards have lost two consecutive, three of four, and seven of eleven games. The Raptors have limited their opponent to less than 100 points in three straight games, for the first time this season.
