Trail Blazers would be without Damian Lillard for a while

Portland Trail Blazers has been without Damian Lillard for about two weeks now and the star would undergo surgery for his abdominal injury which has plagued the player for a while now. Portland hoped that Lillard would be back in the lineup once again after some rest and cortisone shots but the star still remained sidelined. Now the team would play in NBA indefinitely without the star as he undergoes a surgery for repair.

The team has even been without C.J. McCollum and their score looks underwhelming with a 16-24 record even the hopes of a play-in tournament for the playoffs look dim. Fans await the return of the 31-year-old to the roster and hope to see him soon, healthy and scoring for Portland.
