Toronto guard Gary Trent Jr. stars once again for Toronto Raptors with his fourth straight match with 30 plus points. With Trent Jr. contributing 31 points along with Pascal Siakam’s 23, the Raptors ends Atlanta's seven-game winning streak with a 106-100 victory on Monday night. Raptors had to force a comeback in the match after they stumbled into an 11-point deficit and Scottie Barnes pulled the team ahead with 63-61 midway through the third.
Trent helped the team with his career-high nine 3s and Fred VanVleet had 16 points to go along with 11 assists as they rallied in the last quarter with back-to-back threes to maintain their lead. Hawks’ saw Kevin Huerter contribute team-high 26 points as they missed All-Star guard Trae Young.
