After leaving the arena on crutches, Williams is scheduled for an MRI in Salt Lake City. Coach Will Hardy expressed deep concern, noting the severity of the situation. The incident occurred during transition defense; contact with Tari Eason caused Williams to lose balance, resulting in a painful knee hyperextension.
