Vince Carter earns the Sportsmanship Award

Vince Carter joined Mavericks in 2011, at that time Mavericks had just won the championship and Carter had just ended a long-drawn contract and joined Mavs for a $3 million deal where he learned to be a team player and pushed Mavs forward. One of Carter's shots had gone down in Mavs History the last-minute game-winning playoffs shot until Luka Doncic also did the same recently. Later he left Dallas around 2014 and played for the Grizzlies, Kings, and Hawks until he announced his retirement this season. Carter now received a 2020 Sportsmanship Award for excellent display of ideals and sportsmanship on the court throughout his career, the 43-year-old dedicated his 22 years in NBA and there couldn’t have been a more deserving candidate.
