Toronto Raptors need to make some important decisions ahead of the next campaign. They need to revamp the roster after the 12th place-finish in the 2020-2021 NBA Regular season with a 27-45 record in the Eastern Conference. Golden State Warriors on the other hand want to bring in forward Pascal Siakam as part of their starting five. Warriors possess a No. 7 and No. 14 picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, which is due to start on 29th July. Golden State could work on a deal that involves the 7th pick, 2020 second-overall selection, and James Wiseman to revamp their squad.
Siakam’s contract though runs till 2023-24 but he can earn more than $33 million in 2021-22. He has averaged 21.4 points per game this season. The biggest dilemma Raptors are facing is whether to bring back Kyle Lowry or not next season. The 35-year-old can easily be replaced by Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs after they lucked out in the draft lottery. Toronto has a lot to make up for after missing out on the playoffs for the first time since 2012-13.
