The Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 118-112 on Friday in San Francisco thanks to a game-winning 16-2 surge that included three 3-pointers from Donte DiVincenzo, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole. Portland took a lead of 110-102 on a Damian Lillard floater with 5:10 left before Golden State changed the course of the game. The teams exchanged 40-plus point quarters, with the Warriors having a 41-point first that helped them go up by 18, and the Trail Blazers had a 40-point third that propelled them into as much as an 11-point lead.
At the 4:14 minute mark, Poole made a short jump shot to start the game-ending blitz. Jonathan Kuminga of Golden State then dunks, and Poole makes a 3-pointer to bring the score within one point.
