Washington Wizards join the race for Kevin Durant’s signature 

Teams keep a close eye on the entire Kevin Durant situation in Brooklyn Nets but Washington Wizards are ready to jump in and make an actual offer for the player. Wizards have an advantage on their side they give a chance to Durant to play at home which no other team in the league can offer. The Miami Heat prospect hails from the D.C. region and would enjoy playing alongside Bradley Beal. 

Washington Wizards would have a hard time coming making a deal come true as they lack the necessary resources to lure away Durant from the Nets. The only way they can make the deal a reality is by involving a third team in the trade and offering their young prospects like Johnny Davis, Corey Kispert, Deni Avdija, or Rui Hachimura.
