What is the extent of Nikola Jokic injury?

Denver Nuggets’ star player Nikola Jokic, who last season singlehandedly powered the team to go to the Conference Semifinals gave the fans a big score as he went down with a right knee contusion after colliding with Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz. Playing for just 15 minutes of the match, Jokic was in great form with 24 points with a close to 90 percent shooting from the field. Both the players experienced some soreness and were taken for a test at halftime.

Later he was seen walking out of the stadium which really boosts the chances of him playing against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. But since it is the start of the season and not the competitive playoff round Nuggets could rest the player and not rush him back to the court.
