Portland Trail Blazers took on the San Antonio Spurs without the support of CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic and ended up losing the match with a 21-point margin. Blazers were behind 87-82 at the start of the fourth quarter but Spurs later exploded in the last quarter with 38-22 to win the match with 125-104 despite Damian Lillard’s 35 points and 6 assists Spurs team effort paid off in the end with five players ending the day in double digits.
Blazers were lacking depth with two of their starting five players injured and ruled out of the match. While LaMarcus Aldridge posted 22 points against his former team while shooting 10-of-17 times. Both the teams are now tied at 8-6 in the Western Conference but Spurs is placed fifth on the table.
