Kristaps Porzingis hits 24 points against Mavs to lead Wizards to a 135-103 win on Friday night. It was Porzingis’ first game against his former team and it was a riot with 24 points and nine rebounds he helped the wizards roll over Dallas. Caldwell-Pope dropped his season-high 35 points while Rui Hachimura chipped in with 21 points as well.
Mavs had a strong looking Luka Doncic on 36 points and six assists but still lost the match and are well behind Golden State by half a game now for the fight for third place in the Western Conference. Washington’s postseason hopes had already been buried on Thursday as their fate was decided early on making it the third time they would miss the playoffs in four years.
