Young, Hunter led Hawks to 132-103 win over Hornets

Trae Young came back from a drowsy start to score 24 points for the team while De'Andre Hunter drove a second from last quarter rally to help Atlanta Hawks to a 132-103 win over Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference play-in match Wednesday. Hawks will go to Cleveland to confront the Cavaliers on Friday night.

Hornets on the other hand the season is over and they have been overpowered in the play-in stage just like last year and have not qualified for the playoffs since 2016. All the five Atlanta starters were in double digits and even Bogdan Bogdanovic off the bench had reached the twofold figures. LaMelo Ball on the other hand had 26 points and made 7 of 25 shots.
