England star batter hailed Jasprit Bumrah

After a thrilling second day of play against India in the Leeds Test, England's opener Ben Duckett praised century-old Ollie Pope for his innings and talked candidly about taking on Indian pace leader Jasprit Bumrah. It was a great day of Test match cricket at Leeds thanks to Pant's century, India's batting collapse, and England's outstanding batting display. For most of the day, the hosts were in control. Pope scored his second and ninth Test tonnes against India, continuing his impressive run at number three.

Speaking on Pope's century, Duckett said, "He was so calm walking in under tough conditions—Jasprit running in under lights. He got to a run-a-ball 50, which was incredible. I always enjoy batting with him, and it gave me goosebumps when he reached his hundred. You could see how much it meant to him. He’s a massive part of this dressing room, and it was great to see him unbeaten on 100."
