After MI wins, KKR becomes the first side to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs

KKR overcame MI on Saturday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, they became the first team to guarantee their spot in the IPL 2024 Playoffs. Since they reached the 2021 season's final, this is the first time KKR has advanced to the postseason. KKR increased their lead at the top of the IPL 2024 points table after winning nine of their last twelfth game.

The game saw an amazing knock of 42 from 21 balls by Venkatesh Iyer and a quick 33 from 23 balls by Nitish Rana. KKR reached 157 in 20 overs thanks to cameos from Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, and Ramandeep Singh. Ishan Kishan scored 40 off of 22 balls to give the MI chase a very fast start.
