Carey completely thrashed Heat with 101 runs off 62 balls helping Strikers post 5-197 at Adelaide Oval while Heat’s attempt to match the score was squandered when they posted just 115 runs in response in 17.3 overs and all the players fell one by one to Strikers clever bowling line-up.
Their top battling lineup collapsed quickly with the score once being 4-6 in 13 balls with Wes Agar clinching three of the wickets and matches Perth's Jhye Richardson’s 21 wickets haul as the leading wicket-taker in BBL. Strikers are now fourth on the list with two more matches before the finals.
