England and Sri Lanka series is set to kickoff their T20I series. Addressing the press before the match, limited-overs English skipper Eoin Morgan states Alex Hales could be back to the international cricket platform. Hales played for England in 2019 last in a T20I match.
England could call up Alex Hales soon as well but currently, they have a plethora of options in the top order, even currently plenty of players are sitting on the bench who have the caliber to perform as well. Hales was not selected for England’s current T20I squad which is ready to take on Sri Lanka. The decision to drop him called for an explanation as well since he has in the past performed greatly in the T20I circuit and enjoys an unbeaten knock of 60 off 24 balls in England’s T20 blast for Notts Outlaws.
