Amit Mishra pulls out of IPL due to injury

Amit Mishra sustained an injury whilst catching KKR batsman Nitish Rana on 3rd October, now the player has been ruled out of the whole IPL season because of the fracture in his ring finger. The 37-year-old’s stint in IPL this season comes to an end abruptly at Sharjah, even with the fracture the spinner continued to bowl two more overs for DC and also took out dangerous Shubman Gill in one of them. This news comes as a disappointment for DC as they Climb to the top of the League looking formidable this season. Mishra played three of the five games and pulled off impressive records taking 2 for 25 against SRH, 1 for 14 against KKR, and wicketless for 23 in 4 overs against CSK. Currently ranked as the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL history with 160, 10 behind Lasith Malinga, and would have most definitely ranked No. 1 had he continued.
