Shikhar Dhawan’s 200th Indian Premier League match became even more cheery when Punjab Kings drowned Chennai Super Kings with a 11-run win. Dhawan knocked 88 runs for his side and all was left on MS Dhoni to show off his usual dance moves in the last over with 27 runs and a victory on the other side. Former CSK captain but failed to end the nail-biting contest in their favor as they search for their third win this season.
Punjab Kings held on to their nerves in the last over as they defended a target of 189. They later managed to restrict Chennai to 176 for six despite Ambati Rayudu’s knock of 78 off just 39 balls but Kagiso Rabada and Rishi Dhawan’s brought the game back for Punjab by grabbing two wickets each.
