Australia faces fitness issues with bowlers

After the 2-0 clean sweep of England, Australia has the chance to secure a series win with the Boxing Day Test match but it would be a challenge with four of their bowlers facing fitness issues. Josh Hazlewood is set to miss the match and Mitchell Starc, Jhye Richardson and Michael Neser are in the doubtful category.

Starc who played an important role in the second test win is struggling with a rib injury. Hazlewood has already missed the last match and might miss the next one as well with a side strain. Langer even stated Jhye Richardson and Michael Neser are also doubtful, they played in Adelaide after Pat Cummins was sidelined after coming in contact with Covid.
