Australia leads by 2 runs after Day 3

Australia enjoys a mere two-run lead with four wickets in hand as India reduced them to 133/6 on Day 3 of the second Test in Melbourne. Indian pacers were working hard to decapitate their top batting order, Ravindra Jadeja picked up two wickets from their attempt while Umesh Yadav, R Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj all scalped one wicket each.

Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja earlier on Day two had worked hard to post a respectable score but Australia ended Rahane’s run at 112 while Jadeja went on to post a half-century until Mitchell Starc dismissed him and India was bowled out after posting 326 runs and were 131 runs in lead before Australia’s inning where Matthew Wade later added 40 runs before Jadeja trapped him and later dismissed Tim Paine as well when Australia was 99/6 and 34 run partnership by Cameron Green and Pat Cummins later put them ahead by two runs.
