Australia must continue to play extremely smartly in the T20 World Cup

Wasim Jaffer, a former Indian batsman, predicts that Australia will strike hard following their loss to New Zealand in the Super-12 opener. Australia suffered an 89-run beating at the hands of the Kane Williamson team. Finn Allen's powerful hitting in the first few overs put Australia on the defensive right away. The Aaron Finch team lost the game by a wide margin as a result of their inability to recover from the opening onslaught.

Wasim Jaffer predicted Australia will advance far in the competition even though no side has yet successfully defended their T20 World Cup crown. But Jaffer insisted that the club needs to play extremely smartly in their next games. Australia is now playing Sri Lanka in Perth, and they have put up a commanding bowling performance against the three-time champions. After adjusting their length of attack from the previous game, the Australian speed attack has performed significantly better than in the previous match.
