Australian Player Marnus Labuschagne all prepped for the ODI series

The first of three one-day internationals (ODIs) between Australia and Zimbabwe, and New Zealand will take place on Sunday. Given that Labuschagne has only participated in 21 ODIs for Australia,  he is a little anxious to get started on the forthcoming tri-series.

Labuchagne is a member of an entirely full Australian team that played against Zimbabwe in their first tour of the country since the summer of 2003–2004. Under the guidance of captain Aaron Finch, he stated that he anticipates playing a similar role in the middle order and will leave the planning in the hands of the organisation.

"My role has typically been for the last sort of 21 ODIs batting at four or five and doing that work through the middle against the spin and then hopefully finishing the game off towards the back end," Labuschagne says.
