Bangalore gets back to winning ways

Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel propelled Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 13-run win against Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday. With the win, Bangalore finished a three-match losing series in the Indian Premier League. Dhoni-led CSK let Bangalore bat first and restricted the team to 173-8 at the end of 20 overs but fell short in their chase even after the solid beginning and finished their pursuit on 160-8. Australian seamer Hazlewood bowled four tight overs, excusing Dhoni for two and offering just 19 runs. India's new T20 expert Patel took three key wickets dismissing Moeen Ali (34), Ravindra Jadeja (3), and Dwaine Pretorius (13) giving away 35 runs in his four-over spell.

CSK openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway hit 51 in the strategic maneuver however the rest of the squad failed to keep the momentum alive and succumbed to their seventh loss in the season.
