Bangalore tops the IPL table with second win over Hyderabad

Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore found the second win of the season by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by six runs in the Indian Premier League season on Wednesday. While Hyderabad had an easy target of 150 in front of them but despite a great effort by David Warner who scored 54 wins but still their batting front collapsed to end 143-9 in 20 overs.

RCB’s Shahbaz Ahmed took three wickets while defending their target and Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel clinched two wickets to lead Bangalore to the top of the table early in the tournament with two wins. Glenn Maxwell scored his first fifty since 2016 and ended with 59 runs to help Bangalore to 149-8, making Bangalore’s $1.95m  investment in the player worth it.
