Black caps shine as Seifert and Allen rise in T20I rankings

New Zealand secured a 2-0 lead in their five-match series, with their revamped top order and bowling attack making a strong impact. Tim Seifert and Finn Allen, who provided aggressive starts in both games, have climbed in the latest T20I rankings. Seifert jumps 20 places to joint 13th after scores of 44 and 45, while Allen moves up eight spots to 18th following innings of 29* and 38.

Australia’s Travis Head remains the No. 1 T20I batter, with India’s Abhishek Sharma and England’s Phil Salt close behind. Pakistan’s Babar Azam drops to No. 8 after being left out of the New Zealand T20I-leg of the tour. In bowling, Jacob Duffy reaches a career-high 12th after taking six wickets in two games. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Haris Rauf rises four spots to 26th after his strong showing.
