England took down New Zealand by 13 runs in the T20 World Cup warm-up cricket match in Abu Dhabi. England posted just 163 for six, later Black Caps were limited 150 runs and Martin Guptill made 41 off 20 balls while Ish Sodhi and Todd Astle posted a tenth wicket partnership of 47.
Pace bowler Lockie Ferguson, later shared that there is no reason to worry, the young men played well, they'll improve further. Ish Sodhi scalped three wickets giving away 26 runs and help eliminate the top order with David Malan, Eoin Morgan, and Jos Buttler’s wickets. Ferguson added Sodhi put on a good show in the warm-up match and seeing him in action in World Cup would be something to watch out for. Black Caps would face Pakistan in their opener seven days later.
