Brad Hogg gives team India a word to the wise

Former Australia Chinaman Brad Hogg has spoken out about India's five-match Test series against England, which will kick off the World Test Championship cycle 2021-23. Hogg indicated that India will just need to win their first match in order to make their final appearance in the next WTC cycle. According to the former spinner, India will have an advantage in their home series against Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.

India's away travels will take them to South Africa, England, and Bangladesh, where they would have to put in extra effort, according to Hogg. It would be difficult for India to overpower their opponents on the UK tour, and their pacers, particularly Jofra Archer and James Anderson, will be difficult to crack. Besides, “India has 19 games, out of which they will need to win 13 games to get into the WTC final,” says Hogg.
