CSK beat DC by 77 runs

Chennai Super Kings put on an all-around performance to defeat Delhi Capitals by a score of 77 runs, which also helped them clinch a spot in the IPL 2023 play-offs. David Warner, the captain of the DC club, took the initiative in the 224-run chase, but his colleagues didn't offer much assistance, as Delhi could only muster 146/9 in 20 overs. None of the other hitters could surpass the 20-run threshold, with Axar Patel's 15(8) being the second-highest from the DC team, while Warner scored 86(58). 

Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana of Sri Lanka each took two wickets, while Deepak Chahar took three. Additionally, Tushar Deshpande and Ravindra Jadeja both claimed one wicket. Earlier, CSK amassed a mammoth 223/3 in 20 overs thanks to 141 runs contributed for the first wicket by Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway. Conway scored 87(52), while Gaikwad was ejected for 79(50).
