CSK tops the chart again after KKR win

Kolkata Knight Riders were hopeful of a win over Chennai Super Kings on the eventful Sunday after they took apart CSK’s powerful batting lineup in a space of six balls. Chasing a target of 171 runs, CSK needed 34 from 21 balls in the end and were in a comfortable space with seven wickets in hand, but they did not account for losing Moeen Ali, Suresh Raina, and MS Dhoni within six balls.

As the dark clouds descended on CSK over their hopes for a win that would take them to the top of the table. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja entered the field, taking Prasidh Krishna for a ride, the CSK ace delivered a win to the team with 22 runs off 8 balls. They are level on point with Delhi Capitals but a superior net run rate gives them a lead and the top spot.
